TAKK, is a multisector vocational educator and working life developer. Annually, there are over 12 000 adult students, and the number of employees is around 270. TAKK offers vocational qualifications, further vocational qualifications, specialist vocational qualifications and vocational further education in over 20 vocational fields. Education, operations and learning environments are developed in close cooperation with the working life and companies.TAKK offers tailored education for Non-EU students in collaboration with our global partners. These programs have a tuition fee and are tailored so that the students learn Finnish language while studying a profession.

Vegemi is a science-based education programme for children aged 3–11 that promotes wellbeing through healthy eating, nutrition awareness, microbiome health, and sustainability. At its core is “Vegemi,” a friendly stomach bacterium who gains strength from fruits and vegetables, engaging children in a playful, gamified journey. The programme supports early years and primary curricula with ready-to-use classroom activities, digital tools, and a gamified app. Rooted in behavioural science and co-designed with educators, Vegemi integrates wellbeing into literacy, numeracy, science, and sustainability, empowering children to develop healthier food habits while achieving core academic objectives.

Qridi is an awarded pedagogical software for better teaching and learning. Qridi has been developed together with innovative Finnish teachers and experts based on the most recent results of studies on learning. Qridi is a comprehensive tool that allows pupils to conduct self, peer and group evaluations, and it allows for the use of guardian and teacher evaluations in an easy-to-use environment. With Qridi, it is possible to direct and monitor pupils’ individual learning processes in a variety of ways. Qridi can be used to evaluate and, at the same time, teach a broad array of skills (21st century skills): behaviour and the whole make up of knowledge, skills, attitudes and will. The tool has especially been designed for guidance and the evaluation of continuous learning. Qridi is also used in the sport and business sectors, where learning and impact are crucial for individuals and groups.

HEI Schools collaborates with kindergarten and school operators who wish to implement holistic, Finland-inspired learning in their new or existing schools.
