The Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment fund the programme. There is a strong link is to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Finnish embassies around the world. The programme also collaborates with Business Finland and its trade offices globally.
Members selected for the programme are given the opportunity to use the label of official membership. The members represent educational institutes on all levels of education and private companies.

Finland is a country where people believe in education. Even today there is a broad national consensus that Finland’s wellbeing is and will be based on knowledge and expertise. The current Government has set an ambitious vision for 2025: Finland will be a country where everybody wants to learn more all the time.
It is good to know that the good results of Finnish education system were not achieved overnight. It has taken decades and many reforms to take the Finnish educational system where it is now. Finland has developed the education in a systematic way in a broad cooperation with stakeholders. We are willing to share the ideas and know-how we have gained in the process but we do not believe the system can be copied as such to another country.
