UTU provides training programmes for in-service teachers in primary and lower secondary schools (students aged 7–16). The content can also be adjusted for early childhood and pre-primary contexts (children aged 0–7) or upper secondary school settings (students aged 16-19). The training programmes aim to foster participants' comprehension of pedagogy supporting literacy and numeracy skills development of variety of different learners. Duration of the training can be from couple of days till couple of weeks.
