Pikkuli Edu offers research-proven Pikkuli tools and professional training to support children’s social and emotional learning effectively. In addition to social and emotional learning (SEL), we provide fun and inspiring learning materials for nature pedagogy. Our social and emotional learning and nature pedagogy curriculum includes stories and Pikkuli TV series episodes, ready-made lesson plans for teachers, emotion cards, music, and plush toys to make learning engaging. Our Pikkuli SEL solutions are also effective in home usage. Our mission is to help parents and grandparents support children’s social skills by providing easy-to-use tips and tools.

Vegemi is a science-based education programme for children aged 3–11 that promotes wellbeing through healthy eating, nutrition awareness, microbiome health, and sustainability. At its core is “Vegemi,” a friendly stomach bacterium who gains strength from fruits and vegetables, engaging children in a playful, gamified journey. The programme supports early years and primary curricula with ready-to-use classroom activities, digital tools, and a gamified app. Rooted in behavioural science and co-designed with educators, Vegemi integrates wellbeing into literacy, numeracy, science, and sustainability, empowering children to develop healthier food habits while achieving core academic objectives.

Arkki's Creative Education is a long-term after-school curriculum approved by the Finnish Ministry of Education since 2008. Arkki’s awarded program for 4-18-year-old integrates different STEAM subjects via architecture and design. It is delivered by licensing partners and is now in 7 countries. In addition, Arkki offers a program for school teachers called Creative Classroom which consists of a phenomenon-based toolkit with interdisciplinary project plans, based on the Finnish National Core Curriculum. Besides, Arkki offers training and workshops for professionals and conducts participation and social innovation projects.

HEI Schools

HEI Schools collaborates with kindergarten and school operators who wish to implement holistic, Finland-inspired learning in their new or existing schools. Co-founded by the University of Helsinki, the offering of HEI Schools includes: 1) a HEI Schools-branded kindergarten and preschool concept that can be extended to K12, 2) a play-based curriculum for any kindergarten to use, and 3) teacher training courses. Qridi is an awarded pedagogical software for better teaching and learning. Qridi has been developed together with innovative Finnish teachers and experts based on the most recent results of studies on learning. Qridi is a comprehensive tool that allows pupils to conduct self, peer and group evaluations, and it allows for the use of guardian and teacher evaluations in an easy-to-use environment. With Qridi, it is possible to direct and monitor pupils’ individual learning processes in a variety of ways. Qridi can be used to evaluate and, at the same time, teach a broad array of skills (21st century skills): behaviour and the whole make up of knowledge, skills, attitudes and will. The tool has especially been designed for guidance and the evaluation of continuous learning. Qridi is also used in the sport and business sectors, where learning and impact are crucial for individuals and groups.
