Satakunta University of Applied Sciences, SAMK, is a multidisciplinary, internationally oriented university of approximately 6,000 students from 100 countries. SAMK is located on the west coast of Finland, in the Satakunta region. In its operating area, it is a significant creator of experts as well as a developer, a propeller of internationalisation and a promoter of entrepreneurship. Lahdelma & Mahlamäki architects (LMA) is an internationally acclaimed architecture office especially known for their museum projects and education buildings. Renowned for their deep understanding of the impact of history, location and the human touch, LMA architecture stretches far beyond materiality.
